Master's In Sweden Without IELTS

The Swedish government has announced full-free scholarships for international students to study at postgraduate level. Citizens of 41 countries including Bangladesh can apply for this scholarship named Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SI Scholarship). IELTS is not required for this scholarship. Last date of application is 28 February 2024.

Most universities in Sweden offer various scholarships, which can allow you to study for free. The Swedish Institute (SI) offers scholarships for over 700 Master’s programs for international students.

The duration of the Masters program on this fully funded scholarship is one or two years. To apply for an SI scholarship, you must first apply for admission to a master’s program in Sweden. If someone gets the scholarship, the studies will start in the fall semester of 2024.

Facilities:

  • Students will be given 12 thousand Swedish kroner (about 1 lakh 20 thousand in Bangladeshi taka) per month for living expenses.
  • Will provide health insurance.
  • Grant of 15 thousand Swedish krona for travel.
  • In addition, you will get membership of SI Network for Future Global Professionals and membership of SI Alumni Network, which will allow you to build a strong network.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
  • Should have a bachelor’s degree and be proficient in English.
  • Must have 3000 hours work experience. If working full-time that is equivalent to about one and a half years of work experience.
  • Content and presentation of CV, motivation, reference etc. must be first class.
  • The postgraduate program applied for must be eligible for the SI Scholarship.
  • You must have confirmed admission to a Swedish university and received an offer letter by January 2024.
  • A previous Swedish university or college degree is not required to apply.

Necessary Documents:

  • CV (in the form prescribed by the Swedish Institute)
  • Letters of reference (in the form prescribed by the Swedish Institute)
  • Work experience and leadership credentials (in the form prescribed by the Swedish Institute)
  • Copy of valid passport and national identity card
  • Motivation letter
